The procedure for providing information in the field of standardization is carried out in accordance with notification procedures, stipulated in the European Regulation 1025/2012/EC. In the Macedonian legislation, these procedures are set up and transposed into a Decree on the procedure for reporting to the European Commission for the adoption of non-harmonized regulations, technical specifications, and standards, and a Decree on procedures for notification of standards, technical regulations, and procedures for assessment of conformity and sanitary measures. By applying this Regulation, the national standardization bodies members of CEN and CENELEC, and the national standardization bodies applying for full membership in CEN and CENELEC shall keep each other informed of newly developed national standards or amendments to national standards, unless they are identical or equal to international or European standards.
Respecting this obligation, it is necessary for ISRSM to regularly inform the European standardization bodies, the European Commission, and WTO about the newly adopted national standards from the very beginning of their development.
