adopted two new standards in the area of ​​Hydrometry

МКС EN 17694-1:2023  -  Минимални барања на перформанси и на процедури за тестирање на опрема за следење/мониторирање на водата -  Уреди за одредување на проток - Дел 1: Инструментација за отворен канал

The standard defines general requirements, minimum performance requirements and test procedures for open channel instruments used to determine either volumetric flow rate and/or total volume of water in artificial open channels.

It covers the following technological categories:

- Level sensors with associated electronics designed to be used with a conventional measuring structure.

- Water speed sensors.

- Integrated instruments for the speed area consisting of level and speed sensors that can be separated or combined in one assembly.

- Speed ​​sensors that determine the average speed of water through a channel.

This standard defines general requirements, minimum performance requirements and test procedures for instruments used to measure either volumetric flow rate and/or total volume of water passing through closed channels.

It covers all closed pipe (CCI) technologies intended for operation in closed pressure pipes and partially filled pipes.
