The MKC standard ISO 24229 - Codes for written language conversion systems

The  standard  MKC ISO 24229 – Информации и документација – Кодови  за системи за конверзија на пишани јазици

 provides principles for establishing codes for representing written language conversion systems.

Ciphers are designed for use in any application that requires the expression of written language conversion systems, including transliteration and romanization systems, in coded form.

The standard is adopted by ИСРСМ ТК 16 – Кодирање на имињата на државите и сродни ентитети
