Whistleblower protection
A protected report is a report that conveys a reasonable suspicion or knowledge that a criminal or other illegal or impermissible act has been committed, is being committed or is likely to be committed that violates or jeopardizes the public interest.
Pursuant to Article 4 paragraph (2) and paragraph (3) of the Law on Whistleblower Protection (Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia no. 196/2015, no. 35/2018, no. 257/2012) and Article 2 para. (1) and paragraph (3) of the Rulebook on protected internal reporting in the institutions in the public sector, Institutions where there is no authorized person, the protected internal reporting is performed to the manager.
The whistleblower in accordance with the Law on Whistleblower Protection is guaranteed anonymity and confidentiality to the extent and to the extent that he requests it.
